A WhatsApp link with your own name on it

wbm.link/yourbrand — short enough to say out loud, print on a board and put in a bio. It opens WhatsApp with your first message already typed, and you can change where it points without reprinting a thing.

What most businesses share

https://wa.me/919876543210?text=Hello%20I%20want%20to%20order

Nobody can read that out on a call, remember it, or type it off a hoarding. Change the number and every printed copy is dead.

What you can share instead

wbm.link/sharmasweets

The same chat and the same pre-filled message — but it reads like your brand, fits on a visiting card, and can be repointed at a new number whenever you like.

What it looks like for a real business

Your name, your first message. These are examples — the names are yours to claim if they are free.

Sharma Sweets

wbm.link/sharmasweets

A sweet shop, on its board and its bill book

Hello, I want to order sweets

Dr Verma Clinic

wbm.link/drverma

A clinic, on the reception desk

Hello, I want an appointment

Royal Travels

wbm.link/royaltravels

A travel agency, in the Instagram bio

Hi, send me Goa package rates

Gupta Properties

wbm.link/guptaproperties

A property dealer, on hoardings

Hi, I saw your board. Site details?

Why not just a wa.me link

Four things a plain link cannot do

One link, up to 50 numbers

Each tap opens the next number in turn — first person, second person, and after the last one it starts again. One poster feeds your whole sales team instead of one phone.

The first message is already typed

The chat opens with “Hi, I want an appointment” ready to send, so you know what the person came for before they say a word.

Every tap is counted

See how many people opened the link. Make one link per poster or per ad and you know which one actually brought the chats.

Change it any time

Swap the number, add a teammate, edit the message — the printed link stays the same. A plain wa.me link on a hoarding can never be changed.

FAQ

Branded WhatsApp links — questions people ask

Something else on your mind? Ask us.

Is a branded WhatsApp link really free?

Yes. Create your wbm.link account, open Links and make wbm.link/yourbrand at no cost. You start paying ₹999 a month only when you connect a WhatsApp Business API number to the panel — the link itself costs nothing and keeps working.

Do I need the WhatsApp Business API to make one?

No. A branded link can point at any WhatsApp number, including the WhatsApp Business app on your own phone. The API is only needed if you also want the shared team inbox, broadcasts and the chatbot.

Can I choose my own name in the link?

Yes — 2 to 40 letters, numbers, hyphens or underscores, as long as nobody has taken it: wbm.link/sharmasweets, wbm.link/drverma, wbm.link/royaltravels. Names the panel itself uses, like /pricing or /login, are reserved.

What if the name I want is already taken?

The panel tells you while you type, and you pick another — add your city or a word, like wbm.link/sharmasweetsjaipur. A name stays yours for as long as the link exists.

Can I change the number later without reprinting?

Yes, and that is the point of a branded link. The address stays the same while you repoint it at another number, add more numbers, or change the pre-filled message.

Does it work with the WhatsApp Business app?

Yes. The link opens an ordinary WhatsApp chat, so it works whether the number is on WhatsApp, on the WhatsApp Business app, or on the API.

Can one link send chats to different people on my team?

Yes. Put up to 50 numbers on one link and each tap opens the next one, so enquiries are shared evenly instead of piling up on one phone.

Can I make a QR code out of it?

Yes — print the short link as a QR on your board, menu or visiting card with any QR tool. Our free WhatsApp link generator also makes a QR for a plain wa.me link if you do not have an account yet.
