Can I use the WhatsApp Business app and the API on the same number?
Yes. Meta's coexistence feature lets a number stay active in the WhatsApp Business app while it is connected to the API. wbm.link supports it: you connect by scanning a QR code from the app.
Will I lose my old chats?
No. Your chats stay on your phone, and up to six months of history, along with your contacts, is copied into the wbm.link inbox.
Do I need a new phone number for the WhatsApp API?
