When to send it

  • A week before a term or instalment fee is due
  • On the due date, for families who have not yet paid
  • After the due date, stating any late fee from your fee policy
  • When a coaching instalment falls due mid-course

Tips for approval and replies

  • No early-bird discounts, scholarships or “pay today” incentives in the reminder. Meta’s rule is simple: a payment reminder with an incentive is marketing.
  • Mention a late fee only as a plain fact from your fee policy, never as a threat. Aggressive wording is a common rejection reason and upsets parents.
  • Include the student’s name and class, so parents with more than one child know which fee is meant.
  • Import the fee register as a CSV with student name, class, amount and due date as custom fields, then broadcast to that label from wbm.link; each delivered message is charged from your prepaid wallet at the utility rate.

Is a fee reminder with an early-payment discount still utility?

No. Meta treats a payment reminder with an incentive as marketing. If you offer a discount, send it separately as a marketing message to parents who opted in.
