When to send it

  • The evening before a tour or transfer pickup
  • When the driver and vehicle have been assigned
  • A day before a flight or train departure booked through you
  • When a pickup time or point changes

Tips for approval and replies

  • Give the driver’s name and number and the vehicle number, so travellers can spot the car and call directly.
  • Say “reminder” or name the booking in the first line. A message that is only a time and a place leaves the reviewer guessing what it is for.
  • Don’t add “book your next trip with us”. Anything that sells the next holiday makes the reminder marketing.
  • For group departures, import the traveller list as a CSV with pickup time and point as custom fields and send one broadcast — each traveller gets their own details.

How early should I send a pickup reminder?

The evening before usually works best — late enough that the driver is assigned, early enough for the traveller to plan. For pickups before 7 AM, send it by early evening rather than late at night.
